The Nature's Best Photography magazine article "Focus on Tomorrow" highlights the benefits and rewards of training a new generation of nature photographers. The NANPA Foundation raises funds for many of NANPA's educational activities. It focuses on using the camera to educate the public on how to better care for the environment. It supports student scholarships to the annual conferences and programs for adult education, and provides educational programs for youth on nature photography and the environment. The Foundation presents several grants each year. If you would like more information or would like to contribute to help the Foundation achieve its goals, please contact the Executive Director at the NANPA office. NANPA Foundation Grants (Details on grants and recent recipients may be found on the Grants page) Janie Moore Green Scholarship Grant This grant of $1,000 is awarded annually to a student currently enrolled in or having applied to an institution of higher education specializing in the study of photography.   Philip Hyde Environmental Grant The grant will be awarded annually to an individual NANPA member who is actively pursuing completion of an environmental project   Russ Kinne Recognition Award This grant of $1,000 is awarded annually to a member of NANPA who freely shares their professional expertise with NANPA members.   The NANPA Foundation programs and projects are made possible by contributions from our generous donors.
