Refuge Photography Blinds

The Refuge Blind Program was begun in 1997 as a cooperative venture between NANPA and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. The goal was to plan and construct photography blinds in specific locations within wildlife refuges. The blinds are designed to minimize impact on local wildlife while offering photographers a concealed location from which to photograph.

Today, the Refuge Blinds Program is managed by the NANPA Foundation. You can find more specific information on the blinds already completed and volunteer to help planning and construction of others at the Foundation website.
