Best of the Palouse Photo Tour
June 1-5, 2010 : June 1-5, 2010: Palouse Country Photo Tours provides both scheduled and custom photo tours and workshops of the Palouse region of eastern Washington and Idaho. Owner and tour leader, Jack Lien, has lived on and photographed the Palouse for over 30 years. He's discovered countless photographic opportunities throughout the region and has gained access to private land, nostalgic buildings and landscape that is either unknown or off limits to others. Jack will get you into the heart and soul of the land and its people and you'll have abundant opportunities to photograph historic buildings, barns, windmills, and fields. He also knows where to catch the best light for every shooting situation. You will have the opportunity to meet and photograph area farmers preparing their equipment for a long day in the field.

Spring/Summer Tour: Our Spring/Summer tours focus on the rapidly developing stages of crop growth and farmers working the fields. This is an excellent time to photograph the deep rich green fields against the freshly plowed ground and the pastoral scenes only found on the Palouse. The bold colors, patterns, lines, and contrast against the contours of the Palouse landscape is breathtaking.

Yellowstone & Grand Tetons in Spring
June 5-13, 2010 - Yellowstone has been called the Serengeti of North America and with good reason; it contains the largest concentration of free-roaming wildlife in the lower 48 states. The numbers are staggering, sixty-seven different mammals live here, including grizzly bears, black bears, gray wolves, wolverine, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, pronghorn, linx, elk, bison, moose, coyotes, foxes as well as other numerous small mammals.

Spring is a magical time in Yellowstone. Bears come out of hibernation, offsprings are starting to frolic about, and a sense of renewal is all about you.

    Theodore Roosevelt National Park Workshop
June 10-13, 2010 : This park is a real gem. It's almost been like a second home to me, as I love to explore the badlands of this uncrowded national park. It is the second best park that I have been to (next to Yellowstone) for photographing wildlife. Amongst the scenic badlands are herds of elk, mule deer and bison. Not to mention bands of wild horses and smaller mammals and birds. The middle of June is a great time to visit, as the prairie will be greened up with lots of wildflowers. Don't miss this special workshop; you will come back with many great images!

Wildflowers & Reflections in the Tetons
June 10 - 13, 2010 : Visit the Tetons. Photograph alpine lakes reflecting imposing granite peaks, wildflower filled meadows and thundering waterfalls set amongst lush green forests. Learn Lightroom and Photoshop. All of this and more are packed into one, intensive, three-day workshop that's uniquely designed to take your photography to higher levels.

During this personal, comprehensive workshop you'll photograph the dramatic scenery of Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding area, guided by pro photographers and experienced instructors Bret Edge and Nathaniel Coalson.

We'll shoot this majestic landscape in the sweet light of sunrise and sunset and do close-up and wildlife work during the day. When we're not out shooting, we'll work in a comfortable meeting room helping you master the digital darkroom using Lightroom and Photoshop. Throughout the workshop, hands-on demonstrations and critique sessions will help you refine your image-making skills. All participants will receive a complimentary copy of Nat's Lightroom book.

Visit http://www.moabphotoworkshops.com to register for this intensive workshop or email info@bretedge.com with questions.  See you in the Tetons!
