Dec 7-Dec 9, 2012 : Join Art to learn his unique approach to nature photography on this three-day workshop.
For years Art Wolfe has been asked by many organizations and photographers to lead a field workshop where serious amateurs and semi-professional photographers can learn side by side with Art his world famous technique of nature photography. The workshop in Asheville filled up so quickly Art decided to lead another workshop in Charleston, SC so that the people who missed the opportunity could get a second chance.
This three-day course will change the way you look through the lens as well as how you look at your photographs. Discover in the field with Art and his expert photo staff, Artís finer points of maximizing early morning and late afternoon light. Field shoots will be at some of the most beautiful locations around the beautiful area of Charleston, SC.
All aspects of outdoor photography will be covered including composition, field techniques, technology, and the unique philosophy of this highly specialized profession. There will be informative lectures, rigorous critiques and portfolio reviews.
Utilizing his formal training as a teacher, Art will work closely with participants to ensure they come away with new skills and tangible experience in the field as well as inspiration to take their photography to the next level.
Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the workshop, lodging and meals. (Transportation via carpool will be provided between lodging and shoot locations.) We are in the process of securing a limited number of rooms at lodge in Charleston, SC. Please contact the Art Wolfe office and ask for Libby Pfeiffer for more details.
