Road Shows are indoor seminars hosted by well-known leaders - your host for this event will be Carl Heilman II, a nature photographer and author from the Adirondack region of upstate New York. Carl Heilman II - is an award winning photographer who has been living in the Adirondacks and photographing outdoor landscapes since 1975. He has authored and photographed for 3 outdoor photography techniques books, plus a photography guidebook for the Adirondack Park. He has also written and photographed for several coffee table books, and has been leading photography workshops for more than 15 years through many different organizations, and through his family business, Wild Visions, Inc.

His how-to photography books, 'The Landscape Photography Field Guide' (Focal Press), '101 Top Tips for Digital Landscape Photography', and 'Advanced Digital Landscape Photography', have been published internationally by Ilex Press in the UK. 'Photographing the Adirondacks', was published in 2013 by Countryman Press as part of their photography guidebook series, and his coffee table books have been published by Rizzoli, North Country Books, and Voyageur Press. His highly acclaimed panoramic AV presentation, 'The Wild Adirondacks', is shown daily in The Wild Center's panoramic theater.
