NANPA's Eighth Annual Summit January 16-20, 2002 - Jacksonville, Florida Jacksonville will be the site of the Eighth NANPA Annual Summit, January 16-20, 2002 at Adam's Mark Hotel. You can look forward to many attractions, from local photo opportunities to another dynamite program. Jacksonville is one of the prima ecotourism areas in the nation, boasting a dozen pristine state-owned parks nearby, the 46,000-acre Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve, Amelia Island, numerous other beaches, Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge and Osceola National Forest. With all this wildlife and scenery, you just won't believe the photo opportunites. And the meeting! Program Chair Niki Barrie has selected "Alternatives" as the theme for 2002, and alternatives abound. Art Wolfe will serve as Master of Ceremonies, and sessions are already planned on backyard studios, mentoring, photographing animals, both wild and domestic, project development, building a passion for photography, using photographs in education, marketing, editing, and environmental activism.
