Would you like to be a keynote speaker or present a breakout session at a future NANPA Annual Summit?
There's a simple process to submit a proposal and ensure it goes to the right people with all the necessary information.
First, prepare a one page proposal which contains:
(1) Name, address, phone and email of the presenter (2) The program title (3) One paragraph description of the program (4) Target audience for the program - For example, established professional, amateur, or general audience. (5) Background and qualification for presenting the subject matter of the program (6) Qualifications as a speaker. Keynote speakers should list their experience speaking before large audiences of 500+ people. Breakout and workshop speakers should list their experience speaking or teaching to audiences of 50+ people. (7) Possible corporate sponsors for the program.
Proposals should be mailed to: NANPA, 10200 West 44th Ave., Ste 304, Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033-2840. Proposals can also be emailed to NANPA at info@nanpa.org. They will forwarded to the Summit Advisory Council Chair, Kathy Adams Clark and 2005 Program Chair, Debbie Ferrell.
All speaking slots have been filled for the Portland Summit in January 2004. Potential keynote speakers have already been contacted for the Charlotte Summit in 2005 and we have a short-list in the works for the Denver Summit in 2006. Breakout sessions and workshops are still open for both 2005 and 2006 Summits.
We accept proposals any time during the year but it's wise to submit ideas well in advance. Once proposals are submitted they are kept on file for future consideration. If there are any questions, please contact either person listed above.
Take care, Kathy Adams Clark
Note: All submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee, but not all submissions will be accepted. |
