The NANPA Trade Show brings together a diverse group of photography-related products and services. We encourage you to stretch your imagination and explore the ever-changing tools and technologies available from the exhibiting companies. Whether your inspiration comes from exotic travel, a lens that opens up new vistas, seeing your printed work on paper, or using the cutting edge of digital enhancement, you're sure to find something to satisfy your desires. Our exhibitors are committed in their support of NANPA's membership and invite you to visit their booths, ask questions, attend their demonstrations, and, of course, take advantage of the exceptional values offered during the Trade Show. MEET Keynote Speaker:
John Sexton

John Sexton is a renowned photographer, printmaker, workshop instructor, and lecturer. Author of three award-winning photographic books, Quiet Light, Listen to the Trees, and, most recently, Places of Power, he is best known for his luminous, quiet, black-and-white images of the natural environment. John served as photographic assistant and consultant to Ansel Adams from 1979 to 1984. Since 1974 he has taught hundreds of workshops emphasizing printing techniques throughout North America and abroad. His finely crafted large-format photographs have appeared in many publications, and they are included in permanent collections and exhibitions worldwide. John will receive NANPA's Lifetime Achievement Award at this Summit.

Photographic Recollections
Join John as he shares his images and insights relating to his 30-year love affair with black-and-white photography. This presentation will transport viewers "on location" to spectacular landscapes, within Hoover Dam, and even on board the Space Shuttle. Images from these exciting subjects will be transformed on the screen from the negative to the final expressive print. John will discuss the techniques needed to handle the challenging photographic situations found in both natural and human-made environments. Having no photographic secrets, he has crafted his entertaining presentation to provide information and inspiration to those desiring to improve their black-and-white photographic skills. In addition, he will include examples and anecdotes from his six-year working relationship as Ansel Adam's photographic assistant.

Each NANPA Summit Email Newsletter will include the answer to a frequently asked question that we have received from NANPA members. Please send your questions to Marjorie Wells.
