Introduction to Badlands National Park Workshop with Sandy Zelasko

June 1 - June 3

$795.00

During this 3-day South Dakota photography workshop, we will explore Badlands National Park and locations in the vicinity. There will be a variety of photo opportunities including both spectacular scenery and plentiful wildlife. Week old Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, newborn black-tailed prairie dogs, bison babies, a variety of songbirds, the occasional desert cottontail and landscapes galore. Join Sandy and emerge yourself in the topography of sharply eroded buttes, mixed grass prairie, vibrant daybreaks and seductive sunsets.

We invite all levels of nature photographers to participate, learn and share the adventure. Time will be spent in areas with the best photographic possibilities. There will be a small amount of hiking on boardwalks, over rocky areas but mostly on level, well-worn paths. Get your cameras ready for breathtaking landscapes and the flora and fauna of this unique topography on the Western Great Plains.

Extend your stay and photograph wild horses in the “Wildlife of Theodore Roosevelt National Park Photography Workshop,” a 2-day photography workshop in Theodore Roosevelt NP, ND, June 5-6, 2020. Visit InvestInNature.org for more information.
