Summit Super Session: Lewis Kemper

February 21 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm PST

The 2019 Nature Photography Summit and Trade Show, February 21-23 in Las Vegas, NV is a gathering of hundreds of photographers, photo editors and other members of the nature photography community with a focus on learning and inspiration. For 2019, 5 Summit Super Sessions are offered before and after the conference for those wanting even more.

Getting the Most Out of the Raw Processor
Lewis Kemper

Whether you are new to Adobe Camera Raw/Lightroom or have been processing your raw images for years, Lewis will show you some techniques and tips for getting the most out of your files. Lewis will also cover the Basic tab for the bulk of your editing changes, the Detail tab for sharpening and noise reduction, Lens Corrections, HSL, and more.

Learn how to use the Graduated Filter, Adjustment Brush, and the Radial Filter to set your images apart from the crowd. Ansel Adams said, “The negative is the score, and print is the performance.” In today’s digital world, the raw file is the score, and your post-processing is the performance. Learn how to use the tools found in both Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom to turn your score into a performance that will dazzle your audiences! Learn how to use these tools to accentuate the stars in your pictures and to control the lighting of your images. Lewis will demonstrate his technique for “flipping the light” to make your subject the strongest visual element in your pictures. Take the ordinary and make it extraordinary with these tips and techniques.

Summit Super Sessions are $75/each and can be added with or without the full Summit registration.
