The Art of Abstract Photography with Susanna Euston
June 1 - June 3$250
Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) creates photographs that evoke a sense of the energy in a scene, in a tree, or flower; or perhaps its movement in the breeze. As images, they are beautifully unique, painterly and, just plain fun to create!
Best of all, when the “magic hours” of early morning and evening are over, ICM (as with Infrared) is a perfect technique to use most of the rest of the day. I’ve used ICM in all sorts of light, but I particularly love to create in bright light and with Autumn colors as a palette. With backlighting, you can create bright, joyful images that stand out from the pack. Or, in rainy weather, you can create more mysterious, somber effects. Regardless of the weather or even time of day, ICM is a wonderful technique to add to your toolbox.
