Malheur Birds and Mammals, April 27-May 2, 2011

Ken Archer and I are leading a small group workshop to Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Eastern Oregon again in 2011. Join us at one of the top breeding bird locations in the lower 48. Courting shorebirds (avocet, stilit, curlew, phalarope and snip), lekking Sage Grouse, wild horses and nesting Great Horned Owls are a few of the highlights. It's also a very good place to photograph Pronghorn, Mule Deer and other mammals.

Ken Archer is a former first place category winner in Nature's Best Photo contest and overall winner in Wyoming Wildlife contest. His work is widely published. Nate Chappell's images have placed in the 2010 and 2011 NANPA Members Showcase contest.

There are a maximum of 4 participants ensuring personalized instruction. The cost of the trip is $1,595 and includes lodging, instruction, guiding and permits. We will be giving a 2-3 hour presentation and classroom discussion the first night. For the full itinerary and further information please seehttp://www.trogontours.net/malheur
