Recommendations for Insurance for Photo Gear
 

I see that thru NANPA one can get insurance coverage via Rand Insurance, Inc. Thru NAPP I can get coverge from Package Choice. I'm sure there are plenty of other options as well. Anyone recommend one over the other? Suggestions?

I've never had the NAPP policy so I can't comment on that. I have had the RAND policy for several years now. Adding/removing gear is as simple as an email and while I've never had to submit a claim I have a good friend who has a couple of times with great results.

Equipment Insurance
 

I've used both the Rand and Package Choice policies. I've made claims under both policies with good and fast service from both companies. I use Package Choice now because they can bundle the equipment insurance with general business and liabilty insurance. If memory serves me, the Rand insurance has a lower deductible on the equipment insurance, so if that's important and you don't need the other insurance, I would go with Rand.

Hi, I am looking to get general business and liabilty insurance, which unfortunately NANPA does not offer. I see some people here recommend Package Choice thru NAPP? What is NAPP first of all? napp.org goes to the National Association of Pond Professionals, which I doubt is what you're refering to. Where else can I get general business and liability insurance for my photography business and leading workshops? Thanks for your help!
