Indiana - Nature and Wildlife areas

Yes, it would be nice living in areas where there are photo "shots" no matter where you go, but believe it or not, Indiana does have some great areas for both wildlife and nature photography. Southern Indiana has a lot of natural areas that remind you of being in the caverns of Kentucky. It also has some wonderful fall colors, especially in Brown County and the Nashville area. The main problem is it gets over populated with tourists in the fall. There are a number of waterfalls, the best known being Clifty Falls near Madison in southern Indiana. For wildlife, the Jasper-Pulaski area is known for the thousands of Sandhill Cranes that migrate and make a stop-over every year. I also like to visit Muskatatuck - national Fish and Wildlife area just east of Seymour (hometown of John Mellencamp). I live near Indianapolis, and most of my photographs are taken at Eagle Creek Reservoir - lots of deer, birds, and other wildlife.
If anyone else from Indiana has some areas to share, I would love to hear from you on here.
