Welcome Kelci,

Thanks for sharing. It's great that you've found an interest in nature photography. It's hard to tell from the small sized image but it looks a little soft. It might have been camera movement. There are lots of types of photography where a tripod isn't practical but landscape work isn't one of them. If you're not using one already, a good solid tripod can really make a big difference in your work.

It's by no means the end all, be all treaty on the subject but here's a link to a small article that I wrote about choosing a tripod.

Cheers.

Nice shot

Kelci,
Overall the image is nice.. I agree about the softness of the image, but that might be the direction you were taking. The foreground seems to be reasonably in focus and sharp.
One minor thought on composition is the horizon seems to be tilted down to the right.
A tripod and bubble level will help this in the future.. Our eyes seem to deceive us when look at level.. Try put the camera up to the other eye and then back.. This will help demonstrate to you when the image might be unlevel.. Photoshop also allows you to "level" the horizon when you have to shoot freehanded..
Keep shooting.. looks like you have a good eye and practice will help you find the light and your images.
