Default Crosby Arboretum/Picayune, MS

I just discovered this place last weekend. It's truly lovely. Originally man-designed with a variety of areas (bog, savanna, pond, forest, etc.,) but left to nature's devices. Also a historical structure on site--Pinecote pavilion.
Turtles, birds, pale and parrot pitcher plants, lily plants, pickerel weed, various trees (pines, magnolia, oaks, etc.)
VERY buggy (at least in late May.) Bring insect protection! Inexpensive to become a member or $5/visit.
NO smoking.
