The extension features 6 days and 5 nights of photography on and near the Chobe River. We will be photographing from a specialized photography boat that has gimbal style tripods installed as well as from a safari vehicle and we will visit an underground to bunker to take wide angle elephant shots and other close ups. At this time of year the Chobe River floodplain is full of game - Elephants, Waterbuck, large herds of Cape Buffalo etc. The river is full of large Nile Crocodile and Hippo. The area is spectacular for birds with large numbers of waders, kingfishers, African Fish Eagle, African Skimmers and many more. Away from the river Lilac-breasted Rollers are abundant and our game drives give us good chances to photograph leopard and lion. It includes beginning and final nights accommodation in Johannesburg, South Africa as well as flight to Kasana, Botswana. The details are at the bottom of

The South Africa portion of the tour is now full. We still have spaces available for Botswana and we can arrange a private tour for you at Pilanesberg in South Africa if more time is desired there.
