I have been a NANPA member for a little better than 3 years and just discovered the forums while surfing NANPA's website after voting for board members.
My photography interest started 40+ years ago when, as a child, my father would bring home new cameras from the shop that he managed to "test." I was immediately intrested in outdoor nature photography and have not looked back. Today, I work two full-time jobs as a paramedic in suburban Philadelphia, working mostly overnight shifts. Several years ago I purchased a kayak and now shoot about 75% from the kayak. The kayak, besides being a great vehicle for nature photography, is also a great way to unwind and soulfully reconnect after work. Accordingly, most of my images are taken in the early morning at or near first light. All of my photography is captured within the beautiful state of Pennsylvania and mostly within easy day trips of my Philadelphia home.
Regards and looking forward to further forum participation,
