Default Candlestick Tower, Clouds

Hello all,

I just joined NANPA and am familiarizing myself with the forums and resources now. So far, I'm very impressed. I'm looking forward to participating in the forums and hope to meet some of you in the field.

This image was made on the morning of New Year's Eve, 2009. It was very cold (4 degrees) and I forgot my gloves at home. But, it was most definitely worth the pain and numb fingers. I envisioned this image about 2 years ago and the conditions finally cooperated last week. I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for having a look and leaving a comment.

5D2, 100-400mm lens, SR Vari-ND filter set at 8 stops to smooth out the cloud movement

That's a really cool shot Bret. It's always fun when an idea comes together like that.

Cheers
