Sunset at the Fox Den - NANPA

The setting sun finally broke through the clouds just as it was about to fall behind the mountains to the west - illuminating this young fox even as the evening shadows were creeping in around it. Shot with a Canon 50D / Canon 300mm f2.8 / Canon 2.0X extender. Near Helena, Montana.

It is such a rewarding feeling to get a shot like this after hours of boredom. That just goes to show that patience pays dividends!
Nice warm evening colours and an inquisitive look on the face. Great photo...
