Canon 5D mkII and RRS Bracket - NANPA

I'm finally considering upgrading from my 5D to a 5D mkII.

Does anyone who has made that jump know if my old RRS L bracket will fit?

Doug,

I have a 5D2 with the battery grip. The RRS L-bracket was new and did not fit the old 5D's battery grip. I believe the 5D2 body shape is slightly different from the 5D. The 5D2 uses a new lithium battery that is 30% more powerful.

Call RRS and they will be more than happy to answer any of your questions.
