Washington State Bald Eagles and Puffins, July 2-3, 2011
Ken Archer and I will be leading a weekend workshop to photograph Bald Eagles and seabirds at Hood Canal and the Olympic Penninsula.
The cost is $795 and includes:
-Nate Chappell's presentation on photographing birds in the wild with question and answer period.
-2 days photographing Bald Eagles and herons at Hood Canal. This is the premier spot to photograph eagles in Washington state. Interactions between the eagles and with herons are common.
-a 3 hour boat cruise around Protection Island to photograph puffins, auklets and other seabirds on the water.
-transportation from Lakewood, WA and 1 nights lodging at the Harborside Inn in beautiful Port Townsend, WA.
Ken Archer is a former first place category winner in Nature's Best Photo Contest and first place overall winner of the Wyoming Wildlife Contest. Nate Chappell's images have been featured in the 2010 and 2011 NANPA Showcase.
