Nature Photography Day Member Event

This annual event will challenge NANPA members to take a nature photograph on June 15 and upload it for publication in the July/August issue of Ripples, our bi-monthly newsletter. All photos will be published and there is no cost for submission. Photos for submission MUST be taken on June 15, 2010 within walking distance of wherever you are on that day. Following are the full event rules and submission details -

• Only one photo per NANPA member. Choose wisely!
• Must be a nature subject.
• Must be taken within walking (or bicycle-riding) distance of wherever you are on June 15.
• Image must be taken on June 15 and uploaded by end of day, June 19. An upload form will be available from this page on June 15-19 only.
• 200 pixels maximum on the longest side, JPEG format, 72ppi, file size no larger than 100Kb.
• All images entered will appear in the July/August issue of Ripples. Members submitting photos grant NANPA the right to print the image in the July/August issue of Ripples.
• No caption will appear with your image - only a photo credit.
• Only uploaded images will be accepted (no e-mail or CDs) and uploading is the responsibility of the NANPA member.

Remember - the main goal of this event is to capture a scene in your backyard (or whever you happen to be) and not increase your carbon footprint travelling to a special location. Keep it simple, make it fun!
