I am a nature photographer with nearly thirty years of adventure and experience creating photographs in wild natural areas. The challenge of creating unique images of wildness through photography is my personal way of experiencing the wonders of nature. My photography is widely published and I have accumulated several awards. A few credits include a first place award in “Nature’s Best” annual contest, a pair of “Judges Choice” awards in NANPA’s Showcase competition; Audubon; National Wildlife Federation; Sierra Club Calendars; SRI, Inner Reflections Calendars and many more.

I have been working with Nate Chappell of Trogon Tours leading nature photography workshops since 2010. I very much enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with folks from various parts of the world and walks of life. Although we are very different individuals, we all share the strong desire to create high quality nature photographs. From my perspective as a leader, the workshop experience is extremely rewarding both personally and photographically.
