Australian-born Peter Lik has spent over 30 years pushing the boundaries of fine art. A self-taught pioneer in the field of landscape photography, he is internationally renowned for captivating images of Mother Nature’s raw beauty. Thousands of dedicated collectors and a myriad of award wins from the world’s leading institutions have marked a successful career – which also includes an impressive 15 galleries around the United States and record-breaking sales.
Peter has been given the title of Master Photographer from both Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP). He has also received fellowships from the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and the Royal Photographic Society (RPS).
In 2014, Peter shattered a world record by selling his famed image, Phantom, to an anonymous collector for $6.5 million. Then, in early 2015, he was presented with the very coveted Lifetime Achievement Award at PPA’s Imaging USA in Nashville. He is only the 13th photographer in history to ever receive this honor.
Today, Peter continues to follow his calling to capture and share the most beautiful places on earth.
